I’ve spent 20+ years inside healthcare as a nurse leader, and somehow…I still can’t get a straight answer, a timely appointment, or a medical bill that makes sense.  If you’ve ever felt like the system is designed to test your patience (and your wallet), you’re not crazy—it is.

I started Lumani Health after years of battling the system—not just for myself, but for my family.  Delays, denials, and misdiagnoses cost me time, money, and more than one mental breakdown.  And if I struggled—even with insider knowledge—how is anyone supposed to survive this?

Lumani means illumination.  Healthcare can feel dark and confusing.  I’m here to flip the switch.

Inspired by the idea of shining a light into the complexities of healthcare, Lumani carries a sense of warmth, clarity, and guidance.  Though not a direct translation, its roots in my Filipino and Hawaiian heritage blend words like lumi, luna, and lani—all associated with light, sky, and perspective.
